The Date Material Policy field in Storage is mandatory and always filled, it is filled depending on the case based on transaction date or Guarantee Date …
This creates a lot of Warehouse > Locator > Storage records. And it is hard to see really what it’s on hand because you have to sum all the values from the different records.
For some products, the date might not be relevant at all and creates just noise.
The purpose of this ticket is to discuss if a new flag should be added to the product window, f.i, Use Date Material Policy (default true) only for stocked items. In case, someone unchecks that flag, the same date would be used for the storage, f.i. 01/01/1900, so the data would be summarized.
