Hi Carlos, yes that is a great thing. It might still be nice to be able to deactivate the entire panel. Experienced users might prefer the small added horizontal screen estate, especially on smaller displays.

Disclaimer: The new context help pane is great. I still use it most of the time myself. Now that the collapsed-state is remembered between sessions, the priority (for me) has become very, very low.

Michael, I see in the latest changes the status of the help pane (collapsed/uncollapsed) is remembered between sessions.

Test case:

  • Open "Account Info"

  • Query all accounting entries

  • Choose one of the entries and click the zoom button (the related document window is opened)

  • Close the window

  • When returning back to the WAcctViewer an exception is thrown on the console:
