Hi Carlos, yes that is a great thing. It might still be nice to be able to deactivate the entire panel. Experienced users might prefer the small added horizontal screen estate, especially on smaller displays.
Disclaimer: The new context help pane is great. I still use it most of the time myself. Now that the collapsed-state is remembered between sessions, the priority (for me) has become very, very low.

Michael, I see in the latest changes the status of the help pane (collapsed/uncollapsed) is remembered between sessions.

Test case:
Open "Account Info"
Query all accounting entries
Choose one of the entries and click the zoom button (the related document window is opened)
Close the window
When returning back to the WAcctViewer an exception is thrown on the console:
