I’ve tested it on mobile using Firefox web developer tools and I didn’t notice anything suspect.

I did some tests and didn’t find a reason for that to be 95, I didn’t test in mobile, just desktop.

What I see is that there is some space required for the drop area, but that space is shown even when the variable is set to 99.

I try to change value from 95 to 99 and layout seems better.
But not sure if is a good thing to change, as you pointed out, maybe there was something to fix there.

Or, , would it be possible to add a SysConfig DEFAULT_DASHBOARD_WIDTH (default 95) so we can see how the system behaves with a different value. And if any issue, is easy to return to the initial value ?

Anyway, while making tests (value was 99, but I was able to reproduce it with 95), I was able to add an “empty” column, adding/removing gadget and moving them + ChangeRole:

You can change variable DEFAULT_DASHBOARD_WIDTH in DashboardController to 99.
But Elaine was trying to fix something here



so the current final value is 95, so I’m not really sure.
