User Story:
I want to be able to contribute suggestions to improve the Online context help, or to be able to easily add tenant comments to the context help, so that context help can evolve in a collaborative way.

This is summary about how it works:

  • Suggesting better field naming/documentation:
When using the ERP users can now suggest changes to fields related to name, description or comments. This is simply achieved right-clicking on the field, choosing the "Field Suggestion" and editing the values there.

  • Suggesting better context help for a window:
When using the ERP users can now suggest improvement (or creation) of the How To related to a window. This is achieved right-clicking on the "How To" panel on the right, choosing the "Context Help Suggestion" and editing/filling the text

  • Accepting a field suggestion:
This function is on System tenant and is managed within a window called "Field Suggestions", the reviewer can check the suggestions, edit them if necessary.

  • Compare button shows the differences between the actual and the suggested.

  • Reject button marks the field as Processed but not Approved

  • Accept button marks the field as Processed and Approved, and the reviewer must decide if the change applies to the Element (meaning that it will apply to ALL the fields with same name in the database after running Syncronize Terminology), or if it just applies to that field in that window. It has also a flag asking if the Base Language must be updated.

  • Accepting a context help suggestion:
This function is on System tenant and is managed within a window called "Context Help Suggestion", the reviewer can check the suggestions, edit them if necessary.

  • Compare button shows the differences between the actual and the suggested.

  • Reject button marks the context help as Processed but not Approved

  • Accept button marks the context help as Processed and Approved, and the reviewer must decide if the change applies in general, or just for the specific tenant that suggested the edition.
