UX: Save changes in Detail Tab of a Master-Detail window
Description
Sponsored by: Integratio
As a usability research from Integratio users have suggested that the save button is too far from the detail, and confusing also to save the detail requiring to move the mouse to the toolbar on the header tab.
In a design meeting at Krefeld the following improvement was defined:
Save Detail button
Must be configurable as the master toolbar
Saving on master must save both
Saving on detail just detail
Environment
Activity
How to use it -> http://wiki.idempiere.org/en/NF3.0_Detail_ToolBar
attached you can find the new patch with your peer review comments .
Now the detail toolbar can be define in the toolbar window selecting Action -> Detail. Works the same as window, the sequence field defines the order how the buttons in the detail are sorted.
You can create customize buttons for the detail, configuration is the same as in window. And you can restrict the access to the detail custom buttons in Role Toolbar Button Access. Same as in window.

Thanks ,
In code peer review (no tests yet):
No need for a new AD_Val_Rule, we can change the original 200002
Implement restrict for detail too
Could be good to implement also the ability for ToolbarCustomButton
