I'm simulating an environment with multiple accounting schemas, organizations and currencies. Each schema's costing method is currently Average invoice (to be changed to Average PO) at costing level ORGANIZATION.
A minority of our products are assembled and should be managed using Standard Costing. For that reason, I created a separate product category where I assigned each accounting schema to costing method Standard Costing and costing level ORGANIZATION.
I created my raw materials and my finished product under 1 organization (=legal entity) in this standard-costing-managed product group.
I planned my standard costs against all raw materials by manually updating the CURRENT COST PRICE in the cost-tab of each raw material.
I then rolled up the BOM into the Finished Good, however, I found that all costing records in all accounting schemes and currencies were updated with the same value
I see the following problem:
I only update my standard costs under 1 currency , 1 organization and 1 schema but the system rolls up all schemes, currencies and organizations with the same value!
