Thomas has the idea to allow a login with a token inside the url to login.

Triaged as a potential idea due to a lack of interest from the community in 5 years.

This could be already possible through JWT tokens with the rest web services plugin implemented by Heng Sin.

If anyone wants to work on this, please feel free to reopen the ticket and add extra details.
